Weekly Lessons

The Dancing from the Inside-Out workshop will be offered once a week for eight
weeks. During the 90-minute session, participants will share the songs
they love to listen to and dance to while forming fresh habits and routines
that increase strength and agility for daily life. The art form of dance
offers creative ways to form friendships and learn skills contributing to joyful and creative aging.

Participants will:

  • Remember meaningful songs that bring personal joy.
  • Understand and apply the customs of dance.
  • Distinguish the elements of movement.
  • Support one another to achieve measurable goals.
  • Enjoy the creation of movement phrases.
